I recently had the chance to step inside the new MillerKnoll showroom in Chicago for my day job, and the experience felt like walking into a living, breathing design anthology. Each June, the commercial furniture world gathers for Design Days, but this year carried extra electricity as Herman Miller and Knoll unveiled their first-ever combined showroom in Fulton Market. The moment I crossed the threshold, the space unfolded in layers of saturated color, inventive textures, and vignettes that felt ready to leap into a magazine spread. And let me say this loud and clear: Herman Miller is so much more than an Eames chair. The brand is a kaleidoscope of vibrant hues, ingenious silhouettes, and designs that feel both iconic and refreshingly new. If your travels take you to Chicago, carve out time for a visit. It’s the kind of place that leaves your imagination pleasantly buzzing.
